Long Exposure

Timelapse of the Day – August 30, 2012

Here’s a short and beautiful B&W timelapse.  Armand writes:

These are some impressions of a long exposure photography workshop that took place in Domburg, The Netherlands. To reflect the theme of the workshop, I wanted to use timelapse to capture the typical long exposure photography look, that makes clouds look ethereal and whispy, and makes water smooth. I post-processed these shots using techniques also used in long exposure photography, creating several layers of the footage that were each graded separately, and blended together using masks.

    Fantastic work from Armand,
I was on the workshop here and so got a close hand view of his working methods during the day.
An excellent final result from a master in his field.
His post production work is awesome.

Don’t forget to check out his blog, he has some really great work there, as well as doing workshops himself where you can learn to do the same.
