Timelapse of the Day – October 18, 2012

When thinking of timelapse, most people tend to think it’s the practice of speeding things up.  But sometimes slowing things down can be quite dramatic or beautiful.  Today’s timelapse does just that, with New York as the subject.  Great work!  Andy writes:

Have been filming with the new Sony NEX FS700 and thought I’d bring it with me to New York on my vacation. I wanted to see how well the picture faired grading the normal frame rate together with Super Slow Motion at 240 frames per second.
