Paris in motion Timelapse

Thierry Dumas writes:

Being a student in Paris wouldn’t be so exciting if I already knew the place like the back of my hand. Exploring Paris and learning how to master my camera came about at the same time and made me want to have a go at shooting my own time-lapse video.

10,038 photographs appear in the video clip. They were shot between January and June 2012. Unfortunately there is no intervalometer on my Pentax K-x so I had no choice but to take every single photo manually (sadly I haven’t got any device that could have saved me from this pretty boring and shoulder-aching task). Shots were taken every 5 seconds for most footages and up to every 15 seconds for some of them. In spite of all my efforts to remove unwanted motion in the clip, I’m afraid it’s still a bit shaky and not as smooth as I’d like it to be. I used a wobbly tripod most of the time – shots are hand-held otherwise.
